September 20th
Every person is an individual. An individual is the total of all his/her characteristics. Find the characteristics which make the character you are reading about an "individual." Pick one of the characters from chapter one and respond to the above statements. Post your answers on the discussion tab for this page. You may also add other comments as well. This is due on Wednesday, September 22nd.


September 24th
Everything Changes! Use a place, person or thing from the story, show steps that bring about change. Be insightful as you think about how and why things change in the story. An author uses subltle clues to show change, see if you can spot these changes and it affects the story line. In paragraph form, write these on this discussion tab. Due Monday

Also, look for examples of foreshadowing in chapters 7 & 8. Write them out on this discussion tab. Due Monday

October 4th
Again, I would like for you to look for examples of foreshadowing in your chapters. It's not always obvious so you have to pay close attention to details as you are reading. On Monday when we meet, we will be discussing different types of conflict. Look for examples of things/people that conflict in this story. Due Monday October 4th

Read chapters 37-42 due Thursday and write any conficts with these chapters.
